School of Casualty Claims
The School of Casualty Claims was designed for claims professionals from all lines of business to build a comprehensive knowledge base. The curriculum, theories, case scenarios, principles, and test questions were designed by industry veterans to be used on a daily basis – so they have real-world application.
The Curriculum
This comprehensive program is comprised of two progressive years. For more detail on the courses, please view the complete learning objectives.
Year 1
Focused on claims basics such as coverage, investigation and evaluation, litigation management and disposition strategy.
Upon successful completion of the final exam students may advance to Year 2.
Year 2
Prerequisite: Casualty Claims Year 1
Focused on the technical, communication, execution, and decision-making skills needed to handle more complex claims.
Concentration on more complex coverage issues and bad faith principles, as well as instruction on how to fine-tune presentation and management skills.
This course is taught in person. Upon successful completion of the final exam, students will earn their CCP designation.
Certified Claims Professional Designation
Upon completion of both years, you will earn the Certified Claims Professional (CCP) designation in Casualty Claims, including a digital badge to showcase your accomplishment. Earning this designation sets up apart from your peers and signals your expertise to your manager or prospective employer.
